ACCEPT THE NEW TESTAMENT AUTHORITY

Our authority is Jesus.  God said, "Hear ye Him." (Matt 17:5)
Jesus claimed, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." (Matt. 28:18)

FOLLOW THE NEW TESTAMENT PLAN OF SALVATION

FAITH--"But without faith it is impossible to please Him" (Heb. 17:5)
REPENTANCE--"Except ye repent, ye shall likewise perish." (Luke 13:3)
CONFESSION--"With the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Rom. 10:10)
BAPTISM--"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved." (Mark 16:16)

WEAR THE NAME OF THE NEW TESTAMENT

Individuals--"The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch." (Acts 11:26)

BY OBSERVING THE NEW TESTAMENT LORD'S SUPPER

"This do in remembrance of me." (Luke 22:19)
"Upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread." (Acts 20:7, I Cor. 9:14)

BY PRACTICING THE NEW TESTAMENT STEWARDSHIP

"Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel." (I Cor. 9:14)
"Upon the first day if the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him." (I Cor. 16:2)

BY LIVING THE NEW TESTAMENT LIFE

"And they continued steadfast in the Apostle's doctrine and fellowship and in the breaking of bread and in prayer." (Acts 2:42)
"Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee the crown of life." (Rev 2:10)

BY PREACHING THE NEW TESTAMENT GOSPEL

"But we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed." (Gal. 1:8, Mark 16:15)

It is not our mission to be another denomination, but rather urge all religious people to return to the simple plan of God.  It is our plea that this is the solution to the problems that confront a divided Christendom.

THE INVITATION

At the conclusion of every worship service an invitation is offered.  If you desire to unite with this congregation you should come forward to the minister as the invitation hymn is sung.  If you believe that Jesus is the Son of God and have been immersed for the forgiveness of your sins, you may transfer you membership indicating that this is your desire.  If you are not an immersed believer you are asked to confess your faith in Jesus as the Son of God and to be immersed for the remission of sin in accordance with the scriptures.  Previous arrangements need not have been made.  Now is the acceptable hour of salvation!
